Messages & Booking Form Submissions
When visitors contact us through our site’s contact form or fill out our quotation form, the data you provide is saved in the site’s database and to our email client. The reason why we store this information in a database is because forms occasionally fail to submit to us but the same information will immediately populate our database which we check frequently. We also collect the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help with spam detection.
Email Address
On completion of our email or quotation form, we ask if we can add your email address to our mailing list to keep you informed of the regular promotions that we offer throughout the year. By accepting through the checkbox, we will manually add your email to our mailing service (mailchimp.com) until asked to remove it manually, or you can click the mailing list removal link provided in any promotional email correspondence.
Media
The Kernow Home Cleans website occasionally uses images from properties we have completed work at, however, no personally identifiable information will be present, and we are happy to remove any image on request by the related property owner.
Testimonials
We use customer testimonials on our site which are obtained through requests, or summarized comments obtained through alternative contact such as emails, text messages, or telephone conversations. Testimonials used are either kept anonymous, or we will expressly ask permission before adding a customer’s name (and portrait picture if provided).
